We would like to thank Jacinth, PJ, and David for the extensive overview of their company. Food is obviously big business, and they’re a major player in the space – they’ve been at it for 132 years!
With all that experience, they recognize the need to adapt. They recently announced a new strategic operating model, along with 6 Strategic Priorities. Too much to go into here, but suffice it to say, they’ve thought of everything.
“Innovation” was a word that we heard a lot on the call. How innovative can you be with food? You would be surprised – they have a lot planned for the Planters brand and it was interesting to hear some of the things they’ve done with SPAM. Yes, even the classic SPAM!
