Roberts & Ryan had the opportunity to host an investor call with the management team of Rexford Industrial. They’re an industrial REIT that operates in Southern California, and they’ve really gotten their business down to a science.
The company is doing (very) well and when I asked for “takeaways” investors should take from the call, the responses were “We’re having a great time and we’re just getting started” and that “There’s significant opportunity for future growth.” I believe them, too – they seem genuinely excited, and the fundamentals are in their favor.
They gave us a peek at their proprietary system – part of the science I referred to – for sourcing opportunities. Roughly 90% of their deals are done “off market”, meaning that they find deals before they’re even on the market. It’s impressive, both in the scope of the number of properties they monitor and the amount of detail they track.
We also talked about all the great things Rexford is doing on the ESG front. “REXFORGOOD” defines who they are as a company. Too many things to go into here, but it’s clear that this company has “good people” working there.
Rexford is one of the great companies that has supported us in the past and we were very happy to host this call today. We sincerely appreciate the partnership – they’re helping us do great things socially, too!
