Jason Hardzewicz has once again hosted another great Corporate Access investor call with the management team of Whitestone REIT – Dave Holeman: CEO, Scott Hogan: CFO, Christine Mastandrea: COO, David Mordy: Director of Investor Relations.
They describe themselves as a “community-centered retail REIT”. Their strategy is to create exactly that – a community. Jason had the pleasure of touring one of their locations in Texas last year and thought it was absolutely beautiful. Whitestone REIT’s 60 properties are located in the Top Sun Belt Markets, allowing for an open-air design – and the demographics are excellent. Lots of “sticky traffic” at their locations, customers return frequently.
Whitestone REIT shapes environments where people connect with the neighborhood and each other. They acquire, develop, redevelop, manage, and lease properties that reflect the needs and desires of the community. And bring in unique local tenants to create a special sense of place.
