Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) presented Roberts and Ryan Investments with the Patriot award for employers who support their Reservist and National Guard employees.
ESGR promotes employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of applicable laws, and assisting in the resolution of conflicts between employers and Service members. It provides employment opportunities by partnering with Yellow Ribbon, public and private entities to train Service members and families on resume development, interview process, and job fairs. Roberts & Ryan Investment, Inc. joins ESGR on their mission – to develop and promote supportive work environments for Service members.
ESGR, a Department of Defense program, was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee’s military commitment.
