John Roediger joins Roberts & Ryan’s Advisory Board as a seasoned business veteran, whose 30-year career has included leadership roles in investment banking, consulting, and advisory services. John is currently a Senior Partner at Thinktiv, providing consulting services to companies ranging from Fortune 500 to early-stage technology companies, with a focus on product, go-to-market, and advisory strategies.

For four years leading up to Thinktiv, John was a Managing Director at DC Advisory, providing strategy advice to executive management teams and board members with a focus on corporate execution, balance sheet optimization, mergers & acquisitions, capital formation, and restructuring.

Prior to that, John spent four years as a Managing Partner at Signal Hill, establishing a West Coast practice for the investment bank. While at Signal Hill, John served on the operating, commitment, and compensation committees.

Before Signal Hill, John was a Managing Director and Founding Partner at Montgomery & Co., an investment bank focused on Technology, Media, and Healthcare verticals. John was a member of the Operating, Commitment, and Compensation Committees. Before that, John was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and Hambrecht & Quist.

John has served in numerous leadership and board positions for organizations including the University of Southern California’s Biomedical Engineering Board; the Jimmy V Foundation Wine Board; and the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, where he is a Founding Member.

John graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. John is also a veteran of the United States Navy.
