Roberts and Ryan was honored with the United States Navy Reserve Outstanding Employer Support Award.
Roberts and Ryan supports their reserve soldiers and sailors who are called to duty by retaining their position and their employment status within the form. Roberts and Ryan also supports the families of their employees during deployment.
NERE (Navy Employer Recognition Event) honors employers who provide exceptional support for their Reserve Sailor employees. Civilian employers from across the U.S. receives a unique opportunity to witness the capabilities of the Navy Reserve firsthand in San Diego, CA and are recognized for their support to their employees.
“It’s vital we recognize employers who empower Sailors with the time and flexibility needed to accomplish their military duties in defense of the nation,” said Vice Adm. Luke M. McCollum, chief of Navy Reserve. “These employers go above and beyond to support their Sailors and, by extension of that service, their nation. We appreciate their participation today witnessing a sample of their Reserve Sailors’ capabilities and contributions.”
The mission of the Navy Reserve is to provide strategic depth and deliver operational capabilities to the Navy and Marine Corps team, and Joint forces, in the full range of military operations from peace to war.
The Reserve consists of 108,718 (64,715 SELRES and 44,003 IRR) officers and enlisted personnel who serve in every state and territory as well as overseas.
