Toro has two segments, Professional and Residential. The Professional segment is roughly 80% of their business and has been performing well. It sounds like there are a lot of demand drivers with their golf and underground business – think fiber, data centers, infrastructure, etc. Keep an eye on them!
TARIFF TALK: The company has been proactive on the tariff front too, by mobilizing a plan in 2018 to reduce reliance on imports from China. The vast majority of their professional products are manufactured in the U.S., and while some residential products are still produced in Mexico, virtually all are USMCA qualified (tariff exempt).
